Samsung has announced heavy price drop in A7 2016 (A 710F) popularly known as A7. Its latest MOP will be 19,400. Its earlier MOP was 22,900. Samsung has decided to set Samsung Retail Price of it less than 3500 as of current SRP.
At this price point, Samsung shall be able to put a quality challenge to brands like Gionee , Oppo and Vivo in under sub 20 K price segment.
In couple of month, this model has been dropped by Rs. 10,000. Samsung was being threatened by Vivo and Oppo in price segment 10k to 20K. Samsung has taken it well by dropping J7 price up to 2500 and now A 7 price by Rs. 3500.
Vivo, Oppo and Gionee offer V5, V5s, F3, F1s and A1 in this price range. F1s and V5 have been traditionally leader in price range of 15k to 20 K. Gionee A1 begin with a good start in April but lost momentum. V 5 has been updated by Vivo with V5s and F1s has been upgraded by Oppo with F3.
