India saw an increase in export bill by 7.92% in FY 2016-17 over previous year. In 2015-16 India’s Export bill was 1,716,378.04 crore rupees which increased to Rs. 1,852,339.66 crores in 2016-17. Top 25 commodity contributed 82.52 % of total Export bill.
- India exports Natural Or Cultured Pearls,Precious Or Semiprecious Stones,Pre.Metals,Clad With Pre.Metal And Articles, Jewellery and Coin 15% of total export. In 2015-16 India exported 259177 crores of precious commodity, in 2016-17 it registered 13.2 % growth and with 15.84% share in export bill it was exported for Rs. 293397 crores.
- Mineral Fuels, Mineral Oils And Products Of Their Distillation; Bituminous Substances; Mineral Waxes were second in list. it was 11.68% of total export and registered 6.14% growth iver previous year.
- Third in list was vehicles other than railway, it looks make in India initiate by Modi is transforming and India registered 7.1% growth in this commodity category.
- Nuclear Reactors, Boilers, Machinery And Mechanical Appliances were fourth in list and Indiaa registered 9.31% growth and exported worth rs. 94803 crores in FY 2016-17.
- Pharmaceutical products were able to make in top 5 and with 2.92% growth it was exported for rs. 86944 crores.
