Samsung has launched its flagship model Note 8 in Sep. Note 8 had good acceptance and attracted 2.5 lacs pre booking. Mi has launched it ever high priced model Mix2 in India. Mi is emerging as consistent threat to Samsung No.1 smart phone brand in India. we shall compare Note 8 Vs Mi MIX2 here.
Xiaomi used to be online brand, but in leadership of Manu Jain has foot print in offline retail as well. Retailers are going ga ga over Mi phones. They are providing most prominent space to Xiaomi including Mi branded Glow sign board.
Though Mi has smartphone leadership in price range under 15 K, It has yet to prove itself as a brand for elite class. Mi has announced MIX2 flash sale from 17th October. it will be available from November for retail sale.

Mi Mix2 has taken calculated risk to position itself as premium segment brand. Price range 30-40k was dominated by Apple and Samsung. Mi has knocked the door very hard.
