Rio Olympic games started today, though opening ceremony is still to take place. Indian archery will be represented by Deepika kumari, Laxmirani Majhi and Bombayla Devi along with sole male archer Atanu Das. Atanu das will be first to start India’s medal hunt hopefully with a bang.

Round Seven : Hits again 57/60. slowly but steadily moving up, one rank better now at 14th rank.
At Halfway Atanu is at 15th position with 337 points. Kim woojin is leading with 348 points.
Sixth Round : 57/60 looks habitual score of Atany, did it again, jumps two ran now at 15th Rank.
Fifth Round : slipped in fifth round 55/60. now at 17th position among 64 archers.
Fourth Round : Atanu hits again 57/60, now total points 225, after round 4 Atanu das at 13th Ranking
Round Three: Atanu hits 57/60, back in race with 19th spot
Round Two : third to 24th spot, with overall score of 111
Round one: After 6 arrows, Atanu Das stands in third position with 58 points. Started remarkably well
