Oppo unable to beat Xiaomi in India has put forward new sub brand Realme. Oppo is launching new online exclusive brand Realme. Realme 1 is first smartphone under this brand name. Oppo has chosen amazon as exclusive online partner. Realme1 price in India is Rs. 15,990.

Oppo has cut down on distributor margin 5%, retailer margin 15% and operational expenses 10 %. It shall help Oppo to reduce cost by 25% and launch Realme1 cheaper, as one can list handsets on online portals like Amazon and Flipkart with 5 to 6% retention margin to portal. Amazon starts selling from 15th May 2018 for this handset.
Oppo has hinted that Realme1 will come with AI selfie and stunning looks. First phone of Realme brand will be in premium looks as in diamond cuts. Realme1 handsets will get service all over India on Oppo’s authorized service centers.
