Vietnamese handset brand sets to enter Indian smartphone market. Amazing run by Chinese brands Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi and Gionee inspired Mobiistar to expand it to sub-continent. It shall make India global headquarter to run its operations internationally.
Carl Ngo, Group CEO Mobiistar was excited to come in India and said it is too early to talk about success or failure. He said with 4G feature phones post Jio all major things in Mobile industry is happening in India.

Indian mobile industry size and India’s population was another factor that forced Ngo to venture here. PM Narender Modi’s make in India has also been taken in consideration and Mobiistar has tied up contract with V-sun technologies to locally assemble handsets in India.
Mobiistar also planning to set up Surface-mount technology for printed circuit board or PCB assembling in Haryana. It shall focus on selfie camera segment that has been forte of Vivo and Oppo. Carl Ngo has confirmed that it shall launch handset in 6k to 10k price segment.

Mobiistar has tied up with flipkart and it shall remain online brand for time being. It does have plan to go offline and then will increase product range. Service is crucial for any brand to earn confidence of consumers and Mobiistar shall start with 850 service centre with day first and in next 3 months it will expand to 1000 centers.
It is interesting to note that company has adopted Xiaomi strategy to enter subcontinent. It has started with 50 people team and planned to go increase 200 for sales, marketing product development.
Mobiistar is among top 5 brands in Vietnam, Company has planned to set up in India for go internationally. It has already expanded in Cambodia and next destination will be Dubai.
It has come with two models XQ dual and CQ. XQ dual price in India is rs. 7,999 and it is 13MP+8MP dual selfie camera.
