India exported commodities worth Rs. 1716378.04 Crore in Financial year 2016-17. Indian export registered 7.92 % staggering growth over 2015-16. In 2015-16 Indian Export was Rs. 1852339.66 Crores.
Natural Or Cultured Pearls,Precious Or Semiprecious Stones, Pre.Metals, Clad With Pre.Metal And Articles, Jewelry , Coin contributed 15.84% of total export by India. It was 13% higher than previous year. On account of this commodity export worth Rs. 293,397.47 crores was done.

Mineral Fuels, Mineral Oils And Products Of Their Distillation; Bituminous Substances; Mineral Waxes were second highest commodity exported by India. It constituted 11.68% of total export value. On account of this commodity export worth Rs. 216,413.32 crores was done.
