It was followed by Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and many more. It has given opportunity to MNC brand.

This is lack of strategical decision by Apple India, India is selling 3 millions units in a year with average price of 40K. Revenue is set to be 120 billions rupees with a bill of 24billion custom duty. 24 billion rupees are more than enough to set world class factory in India. However Apple is not ready to set up base in India but to pay this amount in plain tax duty.
Well, at the end of the day Apple will not suffer but it will be Indians who love to own iPhone will purse out more money. In long term, it is going to affect Apple as more and more brand are setting base in India. It is advisable to procure new models from abroad to save hard earned money.
