  1. Hiring Chinese team – Top management to lower management, Oppo is run by Chinese citizens. These Chinese citizens are neither good in local language nor in English.
  2. Think tank and decision makers are Chinese, with Zero local participation.
  3. 90% corporate executives are Chinese citizens who can not converse in local language or English. Indians are hired only as sales executives or team leaders.
  4. Chinese False Supremacy : Chinese believe they are far superior than their counter part Indians. Their behavior with employee and retailer are very bad and unacceptable.
  5. Too much policy and guide lines – For Oppo, Policy is everything. They fine heavily on retailers and distributors for minor violations.

  9. Oppo is getting 48% sale from Indian market, it is still apathetic to Indian sentiments. Result – Indians are against Chinese brands and agitating against Chinese goods.

  10. Oppo is lacking on golden management rule, Think Global and Act Local. Chinese handset makers has wiped out Samsung from China. They believe that they know everything about mobile handset business. Chinese assume that India need to copy what they did in China.

Oppo operates in 10k to 30 k price segment. Oppo’s cheapest smart phone is A37F. Oppo Offers A37f, A57, F1 Plus, F3, F3 plus and F1S 64 GB to consumers.  Oppo is getting tough competition from Xiaomi, Vivo and Samsung in smartphone segment.
