Nokia has officially announced that N8 launch has been delayed to make some final amends in the product. N8 had been scheduled for launch by September end in many markets, but now will be available in October, Nokia said. Many analysts claim that the final amends in the phone might be to solve bugs problem, but Nokia has given no clear indications.
N8 has been promoted by Nokia as a very high end smartphone, which stands a chance to make a mark against phones like Apple iPhone. If you literally compare the Nokia N8with iPhone 4 or Samsung Galaxy S smartphones, then the Nokia N8 has a better camera (12 megapixel) but slower processor.
Nokia is happy with the pre-order for N8, as the company looks to gain more market share in the smartphone market. The official Nokia statement says, “We’re thrilled with the response that we’ve had to the N8 and assure everyone who has pre-ordered it already that it’ll be worth the wait! We expect consumers to get their N8s during October.”
